Hmmm. What to say. Good times, for sure. If you have listened to any wide section of my music, you will notice how early and long ago I was doing certain things. From our "Velvet Couch Sessions". Improvisational fun noise, musique concrete, etc. Not necessarily what's all in this track, but generally what was happening on the record - Jackson Pryor/ Jack Owens, Roland Phatom, Buzz Lightyear Megaphone, Korg thrift store drum machine, various ethnic percussion. Micah Young - Buzz Lightyear megaphone, misc vocal, optimus keyboard with Oberheim 1000. Me - I'm recording it all on an old Peavey console, Octava mic's (wish I still had those), Aphex pre's, Beheringer verb. A recycled beat from my Boss Dr. Groove 202, some vocal and the epic 360 systems, variable tone generator. All in my little kitchen. Believe it or not, their is a whole record. It's supposed to be fun and explorative. I am grateful to still have these recordings with my friends. #scottballardmusic #therealscottballard
