Providing some writing materials to the kids at Kampong Pluk, Tonle Sap, Cambodia

we did the Tonle Sap boat tour and met some people who'd just finished their tour and they said you should buy some paper and pencils for the kids. on our tour we stopped at the mangrove visit dock and Tracey and I went on the little boat, Sue and Janet stayed and purchased a number of pads and pencils. as we finished our tour we are traveling back through the village going to see some children but as we've seen the sunset on the lake it's now getting dark. we told the boat captain that we had these to give out, he pulled to the side and called for some kids but none came ☹️. he then saw another on the opposite side, they had a short conversation and he ran off, we travelled a little further and crossed to the opposite river bank, that's when they came from nowhere. it was lovely to see how grateful they were. even the one I shouted at happily shared some of them I had with a girl who hadn't arrived soon enough. I'm sorry for shouting like that.
