I would like to show you my idea for a cross table for the WS-15 bench drill. The body of the table is a 15mm sheet of metal to which I screwed some prisms I found in a nearby scrapyard. The second part of the body is made similarly, except that I added a square steel rod with threaded holes to be able to push one of the prisms to remove the slack. The element that moves the table is a 16x4 trapezoidal screw which I threaded at the ends to a 10mm thread to be able to mount the knobs. I made them from a piece of sheet metal, a pipe and a rod. The second axis is a sled from some large lathe found on scrap. After disassembling, cleaning and lubricating, they fit perfectly into the lower body of the table. The WS15 does not have a pin on the top to hold the ER20 handle, so I came up with the idea of blocking the walrus cone using screws screwed into the handle's blade. The quill has a knockout socket at a slightly angle, thanks to which we tighten the handle by screwing in the screws. The whole thing was extremely stiff and heavy (about 55 kg).
