There is no electricity, but we have water from our stream. We like to try, to live like a 100 years ago, cooking and building things from scratch. We want to live in the forest and built everything we need, from the materials we find around us. Our goal is to learn how things are made, discover forgotten ways and see how we can get by, buying as little as possible. We both love to cook, so we decided to try old recipes and making things from scratch, quite often it’s our first time making these dishes. Also, we are trying to combine foods from our cultural backgrounds and learn from each other.
