Special message from composer Michael R. Dudley Jr. "May this be for anyone who is anxious about what the future holds. Now, perhaps more than ever in our lives, it is of utmost importance that we are able to recognize the moments of joy and beauty in our lived experience, as evidence of the love we ought to have for the land, for ourselves, and for others. Because love is what fear comes for first. But what is extraordinary about love is that its power within any instant is not directly dependent upon the size of its presence, but instead is made more powerful by our ability to witness such a presence. And so shall it be our first charge in this perilous hour- let us indeed witness each act of care, each act of kindness, of love, both of and for our planet and for one another. May the beauty we witness imbue us with the necessary strength to face the present and vanquish fear from within ourselves and others. To know the imperative truth that is our living obligation, to leave having made this place better than how we found it, together cultivating a future of abundant providence, for which we all must still hold hope.” -Michael R.
