Too "small" for me? 🤔| 2023 Yamaha Tracer 7 | First feelings

I only had the Yamaha Tracer 7 for less than one hour, so this video is only about the first impression. And my first impression of this bike was that it was "small" for me. I came to test this 700cc on my Honda CB500X, which is 8 cm higher on paper, although the truth is, I have no idea how motorcycles are measured, because my Honda has a higher windscreen than the Yamaha. Anyway... the first feeling was that I was sitting on a smaller bike, even though the seat height is about the same. There is a difference of only half a centimeter. But this is just my subjective impression considering my height (181cm) and the type of motorcycle I ride. Speaking about the seat...it was comfortable. During the ride, my legs were bent just right. But I don't know how it would feel on longer routes...I drove Tracer 7 for less than an hour only. Regarding performance: The engine provides max. power 54KW and torque 67NM. Since I switched to Yamaha from a 35kw motorcycle, the power and torque seemed sufficient... until the moment I switched to Yamaha Tracer 9GT. You can check it out in my other video. I think that the Tracer 7 would be enough for me even when driving with a pillion. Wind protection... the shield can be adjusted in two positions even while driving, which is great. I would appreciate a higher shield on the highway, but it was enough for me up to 100 km/h. Personally, I would choose the GT version with higher plexiglass. The handling of the motorcycle was exemplary. Leaning from one side to the other in turns is very easy. You would never guess that Yamaha weighs almost 200 kg. The TFT meter looked pretty good, modern and sophisticated... unfortunately I didn't have more time to play with it. Conclusion: The Yamaha Tracer 7 is quite an interesting bike. Certainly powerful enough for calm riders. On the roads between cars, it will be a small rocket, overtaking will not be a problem. The fact that it felt to me like a small bike is just my personal feeling conditioned by my own bike and my height. However, if you have a few thousand to spare, I recommend taking a look at the Tracer 9... its three-cylinder engine might win you over like it did me.
