Bad Kissingen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site The Great Spa Towns of Europe - since 2021
In 2021 Bad Kissingen was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site The Great Spa Towns of Europe. This short movie introduces the site and gives insight into the rich culture of the spa tradition of which the Great Spa Towns of Europe are an outstanding testimony. Our message is: Our heritage is alive. The spa tradition is a living tradition which you still can experience in Bad Kissingen. And we aim to maintain this rich heritage for future generations. This short movie „Bad Kissingen. Great Spa Towns of Europe. World Heritage“ by Max Kupfer & Robert Wührl was elaborated in close co-operation with the cultural department of the town council of Bad Kissingen. It's first public screening took place at the Celebration of the enrolment of Bad Kissingen as part of the Great Spa Towns of Europe in the UNESCO World Heritage List on 30th July 2021.
