This is the worlds easiest homemade no- knead bread recipe Ingredients Bread Flour or All Purpose Flour - 440g (3 cups) Instant or fast action yeast - 1 Tbsp Sea salt or Kosher salt - 1 tsp Very warm water - 330ml (1.5 cups) Instructions: In a large mixing bowl add in 440 grams or 3 cups of bread flour, give it a whisk to remove any lumps and then we are going to add in 1 tbsp of fast action yeast and 1 tsp of cooking salt Give all of those dry ingredients a good whisk to ensure it’s fully incorporated Next we are going to add in 330ml or 1.5 cups of very warm water, when I say very warm I don’t mean boiling water, just add hot water from the tap and you should be able to hold your finger in the water, if you have a thermometer you are looking for 45-55 degrees Celsius or 110 degrees Fahrenheit make sure it doesn’t go over 55 degrees Celsius or 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix in the water with the dry ingredients, until there is no visible flour when you’re done mixing What you're looking for is for the dough to be a sticky consistency, not to wet and not too dry, if you're finding the dough is to wet add in a small amount of flour at a time and if it’s too dry add in a touch of water. Now we are going to cover the bowl with a tea towel and let prove for around 1-2 hours You'll know it's ready as you can see it’s doubled in size, has lots of air holes over the top and it’s wobbly like jelly. This is exactly what you’re looking for. If your’s doesn’t look like this, don’t panic, just leave it for another 30 minuets and come back and check again. Preheat your fan oven to 230 degrees Celsius or 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the dough from the sides of the bowl to make it easier to handle, grab yourself a spoon or a fork and just start pulling it away from the side of the bowl and bringing it into the middle and make sure you also then go under the dough to release it from the base, try getting it into a ball like shape Now grab yourself a handful of flour and flour your surface well, then remove the dough from the bowl and place on top of the flour. This is a no knead recipe, so all you need to do is shape the dough at this point, when handling the dough, i’d recommend rubbing flour into your hands or wetting your hands with water as it is really sticky. We are going to fold the dough 4 times from each side. Using the bowl you mixed your dough in, place it over the top of your shaped dough and let it prove for a further 15 minuets. Place an oven proof pot into the preheated oven for 15 minuets to heat up After 15 minuets your dough should look more full and airy which is exactly what we want. Next you need some baking paper, then using a dough scraper or a spatula, transfer the dough over to the baking paper. Now flour the top of the dough and rub that all around, you can gently shape your dough, but ensure you don’t over do it or press out the air and if you want to score, this would be the time to do it. It’s now time to remove your heated pot from the oven and then holding the edges of the baking paper carefully transfer your dough into the pot, now place the lid back on and then pop into the oven. We are going to bake for 30 minuets with the lid on and bake for a final 10 minuets or until beautiful golden brown with the lid off Place the bread onto a cooling rack for 15 minutes or at least 10 minuets if you can’t wasit that long. After you’ve let it cool you’re ready to start cutting into your freshly baked bread! #howto #baking #bread #noknead #easyrecipe #homemade #food #recipe #foodie
