You may feel useless, forgotten, or stuck in a season that seems to have no meaning. Yet God does not waste lives, and He does not prepare people without a reason. The season you are in now may be building patience, humility, and strength—qualities needed for the moment when you will be helpful to others. What feels like delay is often preparation. Waiting for God is not weakness; it is faith in action. The saints waited. Holy Mary waited in silence. Christ Himself waited before beginning His ministry. Their lives teach us that God’s timing is always perfect, even when it is painful. Giving up too early can cause a person to miss the very moment God was preparing them for. Trusting God means believing that your life has value even when nothing is happening. It means continuing to pray, to hope, and to stand firm when giving up seems easier. God sees your endurance, and He honors those who wait without losing faith. So hold on. Do not rush. Do not lose heart. Your time will come—not by chance, not by force, but by God’s will. When it does, you will understand why you had to wait.
