Pune Porsche hit-and-run case : Blood samples of accused's friends also switched, court told | News9

In a shocking development in the Pune Porsche crash case, blood samples from the 17-year-old driver and his friends were allegedly tampered with at Sassoon Hospital to hide their alcohol consumption at the time of the accident. The crash, which occurred on May 19, resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals. During bail hearings, special prosecutor Shishir Hiray accused Dr. Shreehari Halnor of swapping the blood samples and receiving Rs 2.5 lakh for this act. The prosecution revealed plans to substitute the blood samples of the minor's friends’ mothers with those of other individuals, but this was thwarted. Eyewitnesses reported the minor driver appeared heavily intoxicated, contrasting with Dr. Halnor's negative alcohol test results.
