Niki continues her testimony on the witness stand. 1 of 3, follows "Harry's Dead: Niki Becomes You" Backstory and Synopsis: 1985: Mitch Laurence, an unscrupulous scoundrel from Tina's past, comes to Llanview with plans to marry Tina and to get his hands on her money. Mitch discovers a letter from Victor Lord that states if Viki ever suffers a recurrence of her multiple-personality disorder, then his entire estate and control of the Lord Foundation would go to Tina. So Mitch concocts a plan, with an assist by Tina, to bring out Niki Smith. Mitch decides to kill Clint and frame Niki/Viki for the murder. At the last moment the scheme backfires and Tina confronts Mitch, grabs for his gun. A struggle ensues . Niki watches as Harry O'Neill stumbles upon the scene. Mitch mistakes Harry for Clint and fires the gun at him. Harry falls and dies in Niki's arms. When Niki becomes Viki, she doesn't remember what has happened. Tina is arrested for the murder, though she insists that the murderer is Mitch. Mitch has an airtight alibi. He claims to have been in Miami at the time of Harry's death. Tina begs Viki to testify during her trial as a witness. Eventually, Viki takes the stand where she is peppered with tough questions by Tina's lawyer -- Harry's brother, Pete O'Neill. She cracks, Viki turns into Niki in front of a courtroom of stunned spectators. Niki relates the truth of the crime, and an APB is put out for the arrest of Mitch Laurence. Mitch escapes, but he is eventually arrested and sent to prison. These clips cover this story up to the trial and Viki's breakdown.
