Today I found out about a new trend I was unaware of. People are smashing up old "Vasoline Glass" dishware from the 1930s to make glow in the dark marijuana smoking pipes. This type of glass is green and glows in the dark due to uranium in the glass. Plates like the one I have are relatively safe to have and eat off, but people who are collectors often keep their large collections behind leaded glass. The pipes made of the glass should be just as safe to use occasionally. If you are a "pothead" who keeps your pipe in your shirts chest pocket right over your heart and you smoke out of it continuously from the second you wake up until the second you go to sleep, I'd recommend getting a different pipe or not using this pipe as your only one but as a novelty item to show off at parties or something. I'd chop tomatoes on my plate and even eat them off of it, but I wouldn't keep it pressed up to my body or kiss it hundreds of times a day. It does emit radiation even if the levels are low. While researching this video I found glow in the dark pipes online specifically advertised as being radioactive, and also a few advertised as "glows in the dark - not radioactive/contains no uranium" so if it must be a glow in the dark pipe, I guess that is an option.
