Check out this Full Coverage from the Out-A-Sight Vintage Drags that took place on June 27th and 28th at Great Lakes Dragaway in Wisconsin. This is one of those events that hold a high standard on Pre 1967 Cars that are period correct. Not meaning that the Vintage Drag Cars have to be "Stock" they have to be "Stock" looking back in the day using upgraded equipment that was available back in the 1960's. So car cannot have newer beadlock style rims or fancy updated gear shifters... it has to give the appearance like it was an untouched barn find from back in the 1960's racing era. And this makes for a really unique show to goto and a lot of racers all over the country want to get into it and get involved with it. And if you think wow that would be hard to find stuff like original aluminum slot rims, racing seats, hood scoops, and wheelie bars... well that's kind of the point. If it was easy then everybody would be doing it. Guys either have to scout around at swap meets and find the stuff or look for companies that are making reproduction parts that look just like the originals. Thanks so much for watching my videos!
