Trouble shooting a Paslode IM350+ nail gun with no name, number, or note as to why it was left in.

This is a common problem you can get from time to time. Tools dropped off for repair with no note, name or number on them. But it always happens with paslode guns. I actually had 2 more today with the same problem. Only some initials on the guns, cannot contact the person at all. when this happens with a paslode, you can service the gun, as this is normaly why they are sent in. When it happens with other tools, there is more fault finding involved. With a paslode, the service will allow you to check and test every component anyway. When the gun is dismantled, you can identify and repair and other problems. This one actually had 2 problems.
