#wyattsmetallife #metal #steelpanther Last night at House of Blues Las Vegas, Steel Panther turned the entire venue into a raunchy, neon-lit time machine back to the glory days of 80s excess. From the very first note, it wasn’t just a concert. It was a full-blown comedy act, a filthy rock ’n’ roll party, and a love letter to hair metal all wrapped into one. They ripped right into “Eyes of a Panther”, setting the tone with the kind of energy only they can deliver. Satire sharp as hell, yet so musically on point that you forget you’re laughing because the riffs are crushing. By the time they dropped into “Asian Hooker”, the crowd was already screaming every word back, arms raised, beer flying, and wigs practically shaking off heads in the pit. The setlist was a rollercoaster between sleaze anthems and pure rock ’n’ roll tributes. “Fat Girl (Thar She Blows)” had the audience doubled over with laughter, but then Satchel took over for one of the night’s highlights. A sprawling guitar solo that weaved through snippets of “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Seek and Destroy,” “Breaking the Law,” “Master of Puppets,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and even “Iron Man.” It was over-the-top, ridiculous, and yet technically jaw-dropping, the perfect example of why Steel Panther gets away with everything they do. They can play. There was no shortage of crowd interaction either. When the band slid into “Girl From Oklahoma,” the stage turned into a sideshow—Chuck actually got down on one knee and proposed to Sexy Jen mid-song, while the whole room cheered and heckled like it was some twisted Vegas wedding chapel. By the time “17 Girls in a Row” and “Eatin’ Ain’t Cheatin’” rolled out, the night had completely descended into the brand of filthy chaos only Steel Panther can conjure. And just when you thought they couldn’t take it further, they launched into “Crazy Train” as a full-blown Ozzy tribute, nailing every note with the right balance of reverence and parody. Of course, no Steel Panther show would be complete without their signature bangers—“Death to All but Metal” turned the floor into a headbanging frenzy, and “Gloryhole” closed out the night with every single person in the crowd singing along like it was the filthiest national anthem ever written. Las Vegas has seen its share of outrageous shows, but Steel Panther at House of Blues was something else entirely—equal parts comedy, nostalgia, technical brilliance, and pure, sleazy rock ’n’ roll mayhem.
