Sweaty touge deathmatch down Keikokudoro touge, Ichikawa between an RX7 FD and GTR R32. The video has one goal in mind - how much cheese can I rip from Initial D and put it into a bloated animated short. I've decided to scrap/not complete this animation for a few reasons. Production started ~December 2023 (inspired by mf ghost lol) with wayy too high standards for camera-work, animation, rigging. At the time I barely knew anything about animating, so it was both learning and producing time spent. Halfassed long periods on and off animating due to IRL obligations- I've lost interest in finishing and didn't make sense for me to keep stuck on finishing only one animation for a year. With long development time, there was very visible improvement from start to end that I had to keep redoing scenes to match expectations. Wanting to use that time to pursue more worthwhile things fat words of advice if you're starting something for the first time - make it short and simple.
