Left-Hand Milk Stout Nitro: Colorado - Milk Stout- 6.0% ABV. Milk Stout Nitro cascades beautifully building a think head like whipped cream. The aroma is of brown sugar & vanilla cream with hints of roasted coffee. The name for Milk Stout or Sweet Stout, also sometimes called Cream Stout, refers to the use of milk sugar in the brewing process. Lactose, an unfermentable sugar/dextrin, adds residual sweetness and body to the beer. Founders Breakfast Stout: Michigan - American Double/Imperial Stout- 8.3% ABV. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. Murphy’s Irish Stout Draught: Ireland - Dry Stout- 4% ABV. With its creamy mouthfeel and judicious use of bittering hops, this seems a little like a milk/cream stout. The brew was first dubbed “dry” because of its distinct dry, roasty, enduring bitter flavor profile compared to many sweeter London stouts. Young’s Double Chocolate Stout – England - Milk/Sweet Stout- Pale ale and crystal malt, chocolate malt, a special blend of sugars, Fuggle and Goldings hops, real dark chocolate and chocolate essence are all utilized in creating this unique beer.
