It's getting cold, and with the goal of conquering every prefecture where I've filmed videos, I'm heading to Kyushu – the only region left. I took a ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Koji Port in Kitakyushu, then began touring Kyushu in a clockwise direction. First up is Beppu Station in Oita Prefecture. Beppu is one of Japan's most famous hot spring towns, and just a short walk from the station, you'll find a covered arcade shopping street and a bar district. This level of convenience really gives it the feel of a hot spring city. Moreover, with the highest number of hot springs and the greatest hot spring output in Japan, it attracts many foreign visitors.
