The Library of Alexandria... the greatest treasure of the ancient world. A place where people didn't worship gods, but knowledge itself. Approximately 500,000 documents of all kinds rested on its shelves, but sadly, during various conflicts and wars... almost everything was reduced to ashes by several great fires. Historians categorize these events as the most devastating fires in human history. Not because of the number of victims, but because they erased the most important records of our race from the face of the earth. Science, art, history... almost all of it… lost. This forced human knowledge to practically start over from scratch. The only thing we know about the library is what was written in other schools and stories far away from it. But what we do know is that its loss set us back as a rational species by at least ONE THOUSAND years. But... what if it hadn't been that way? What if, for some reason, something or someone had protected the library, preventing its burning and looting?
