Goldstein's father lay weeping on the gravestone as the troops moved in to enforce a court order made last month. VOICE-OVER: 0003 Baruch Goldstein's father lay on his son's grave to protect it as Israeli soldiers prepared to remove the decorations. 0009 New York-born Goldstein massacred 29 Arabs at the Hebron mosque in 1994 before he was bludgeoned to death by survivors. 0016 His father proclaimed him a saint. 0018 SOUNDBITE: (English) "My son, my heart, they are tearing my heart out, what kind of country is this. I pray that no evil will fall on people for a tragedy like this. He gave up his life, his wife, his children because he knew what was going to happen that day." SUPER CAPTION: Yisrael Goldstein, Father of Baruch Goldstein 0036 The soldiers tore down a religious book cabinet, decorative tiles and candles from the grave site in the Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba in the West Bank. 0045 As the troops moved in, Israeli settlers clashed with police. 0051 The Israeli Supreme Court threw out an attempt by Goldstein's parents to stop the removal of the decorations around their son's grave in November. 0059 But the Palestinians say the order didn't come soon enough. 0103 SOUNDBITE: (English) "I think what was done today came too late, because no one should give honour to a murderer like Goldstein."
