Ending: At the end of a Battle Royale or Tag Battle, victory goes to the player who has the most Stars (or coins if the Stars are the same, or Mini Stars in Mario Party 9 and the Mario Party mode of Mario Party 10). With the exception of Mario Party 9 and 10, if there is a tie for Stars and Coins, Dice Blocks will be used to determine the winner. When the winner is determined, the words "You're the Superstar(s)!" will appear below the winning player(s). Note: In this video, Bonus Stars are Off to see what happens if this setting is Off at the end of a Party. Note 2: Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi & Toad's "I'm a Superstar!" quote are all reused from Mario Party 6 and 7. Note 5: In Mario Party: Island Tour, the Superstar is decided by the following factors depending on board: In Star-Crossed Skyway, the Superstar is the player who has the most Mini Stars when everyone finishes; in Bowser's Peculiar Peak (Bowser's Bizarre Volcano), the Superstar is the player farthest to Bowser (or closest to where they started) when one player is eliminated; and in other boards, the Superstar is the player who reaches the finish (and completes the Final Challenge, if any).
