In the previous video, I brought up the fact that Gandrake was originally Sasaki "Ganryu" Kojiro, until he was tricked to break the seal of Amestris, the Goddess of Destruction, who was trapped in the Archnebulus. For his first battle against Musashi, Gandrake used the combined powers of Amestris and the Mystics' Five Swords to become Dark Musashi. However, thanks to Mycella's healing assistance, Musashi was able to defeat the Gandrake's transformed state and also get back all of his Five Swords. -------------- Gandrake took sharp notice of this. With the Amestris & the Archnebulus ready to go, and knowing that Mycella's powers were no longer needed for it, Gandrake made it do the unthinkable. "Meddlesome wench!" The Archnebulus fired a powerful blast straight through Mycella's chest! Throwing her backwards and killing her in one shot! The last thing ever heard from her was a shriek of horror from the blast. Not even Princess Fillet of Brave Fencer Musashi had it this bad! I was so shocked when this first happened! Musashi went over to pick up the Princess' now-lifeless body. Knowing that he has failed to protect Antheum's Princess, he lets out his own yell of horror. This wasn't fair at all! After all of the effort he put into rescuing her from Gandrake using her like a magic power source, Gandrake decides to get rid of her like trash. Musashi already wanted to beat Gandrake, but now after this incident, he's mad as hell and wants nothing less but to KILL the man for killing his closest friend & crush, even if it meant getting killed, himself. Now that the Amestris has regained all of her power from the Mystics and the nebulite, she now completely merges her powers with Gandrake, while her physical form is released as a jellyfish massive enough to destroy the whole fortress from the top. Master Mew looks on from a distance to realize how much the whole world is at stake, now... Now, presumably taking place on destroyed metal under Amestris' jellyfish form, Gandrake has become a massive, nebulized form of himself, ready to kill Musashi and destroy the entire world once and for all. -------------- The Nebulized Gandrake has a weakspot in his chest, but it will not always be open for you to strike it. In the meantime, while waiting for it to open, you must survive against all of his deadly attacks, such as the powerful swallows he shoots when he slashes with his sword, the crystal spikes of himself that he can shoot from underground, his grab where he crushes you in his hand, the laser he can direct at you from above, and the attack where he turns into pieces of Nebulite to rain on you like meteors! As soon as you see his chest open up, go all out on it! You'll eventually see his health change colors and will soon be able to destroy him & Amestris once and for all! When Gandrake does blow up, he takes the whole battlefield with him, forcing Musashi to take the now-deceased Mycella and jump out of there. Somehow, they managed to make it back to Antheum, but... -------------- Bad news is presented right to Chief Banon right at Antheum's center fountain, as he sees that his own daughter has fallen in the final battle. The others there to mourn the loss of their Princess was her own mother, Musashi's master, and every last one of the Elemental Maidens. It seemed that all hope was lost to try and bring her back, and the Chief, with new voiced dialogue, believed it was fate. However, as they continued to grieve, the fountain started lighting up under their feet. Musashi put the Princess there and the through the Anthedon, Mycella was brought back to life! This must've been because the Anthedon was at full power again thanks to the Five Swords. Everyone was so happy, ESPECIALLY Musashi, with his Master Mew congratulating him on a job well done, and Musashi returning the favor by finally called him "Master" instead of "Whisker Dude". Laughs from all around were had from this, but they were put out pretty fast because someone else just crashed their party... -------------- It was Gandrake! He survived that intense battle from before, and he wanted to duel Musashi one last time. No magic! No transformations! Nothing but the steel of their blades! Musashi urged all of his friends to stay back, but most of them refused to do so. Who were they? Princess Mycella & the Elemental Maidens Burrini, Fontina, Mirabo, Maribo, Istara, & Clochette! All of these brave girls (which I affectionately call Musashi's Rainbow Harem), wanted to stay by their hero to the bitter end, believing in Musashi that he'll be the victor of this duel. As a traditional single-stroke samurai duel, Musashi & Gandrake weren't planning hold anything back. I promise you that the next video will have this as the very last boss of the game. As well as the easiest!
