ADF | Joint Australian Training Team - Philippines 2025

In alignment with the Enhanced Defence Cooperation Program (EDCP) between Australia and the Philippines, the Australian Defence Force and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, under the Joint Australian Training Team – Philippines (JATT-P) program, are conducting training together. Under the EDCP, Australia and the Philippines work together to identify training needs and focus areas. Bespoke packages are then designed for delivery in the classroom and the field, across a range of disciplines including military planning, combat shooting, maritime sustainment, aircraft maintenance, intelligence analysis, and aviation safety. Each year approximately 100 personnel from the Department of National Defense and AFP undertake education and training in Australia, and hundreds more participate in bilateral and multilateral exercises and training in the Philippines.
