I this weeks Tip of the Week, Kelly and Kyle of Cruiser Customizing begin a cockpit transformation. Over the next several weeks, they will be installing motorcycle risers, handlebars, stainless steel lines and calbes (+6" over stock), grips, and chorme handlebar dress-up items. Swapping out handlebar risers is quite possibly the simplist riding possition comfort change you can make to your motorcyle. In most cases, a riser up to 4 inches tall can be added to a stock motorcyle without any other changes. This addition ususally increases the handlebar height an inch or two while bringing the bars closer to the rider an inch or two at the same time. This week Kelly and Kyle are installing LA Chopers 1-1/2" Mohawk risers for 1-1/4" handlebars Part Number LA-7404-01. The second most popular riding possition modification is a handebar swap. Handlebars come in many shapes and sizes providing the greatest movement / change possibe. The next installation Kelly and Kyle will perform will be adding the LA Choppers 12" Rise Hefty Ape Hanger Handlebar part number LA-7312-12 When changing out handlebars, it is important to keep in mind that modifications, rerouting, or complete replacement of brake, clutch, throttle, and choke lines and cables is probable if not mandatory. Kely and Kyle will be installing the Baron Custom Accessory 12" bar kit which is a kit that comprises all of the lines and cables necessary for a 6 inches over stock set-up Part Number BA-8015KT-12. Thank you for watching this weeks Cruiser Customizing Tip of the Week. Until Next Week, Take Care & Ride Safe Kely & Kyle
