Watch the ninth episode of the Advanced LL.M. in International Children’s Rights Alumni Interview Series, where we continue to highlight the inspiring work of our graduates making a difference around the world. In this episode, we speak with Chandrima Chattopadhyay, a 2020 graduate from India and currently a Ph.D. candidate exploring the intersection of behavioural science and law. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and technology choice behaviour, with special emphasis on the upcoming EU AI Act. Chandrima reflects on the course Interaction between ‘Children’s Rights and Other International Legal Systems’ as a foundational and exciting part of the LL.M. programme—one that laid the groundwork for understanding how legal frameworks connect with practice and real-world impact. She also discusses how the field visits and ongoing engagement with practitioners shaped her perspective on how children’s rights are approached in diverse contexts.
