Introducing the W+D BB820+, W+D’s new flagship multi-format inserter. The first is its higher speed. The new mechanical speed is 20,000 envelopes per hour for a #9, #10 and 6 x 9” US envelope sizes, or European DL, C5, and C6 sizes. Most important however are the “nets on the belt “that the W+D 820+ achieves. They are the highest in the industry for complex mail packages! This is achieved by W+D feeder technology, secure separation and consistent feeding of products and the superior control of content and envelope which allows users to run the tightest side-to-side clearance in the industry of ¼” or 6mm. Add the intelligence of the W+D BB820+ with a sticking flap detector and divert that reliably works and Auto Mismatch Recovery that ensures a consistent production when running different or multiple personalized streams and the W+D BB820+ inserter production productivity has no equal. The flexible autoloader option and the OC4 vertical delivery will further support high-volume jobs for maximum operator productivity and ease of use. The OC4 also handles thicker mail packages of up to 4/10” or 10mm and envelope sizes up to a US 9 x12” flat or European C4.
