Everyone's new favorite polka-dot math rock duo. They're incredibly tight live and their KEXP performance is impressive! Here's their most popular song from those pieces transcribed by me completely by ear, in 24-TET (or quarter tones). Hopefully I still caught the wave of enthusiasm. I write out multiple electric guitar staves to represent the extensive looping that's created. In Sarniezz there's two neat spots where the rhythm changes, one switches from 6/8 to 4/4, re-contextualizing the same riff in a three bar phrase, and the other is a 3/8 bar that shifts looped material backwards, giving it a more cadential vibe for the ending. You could say a lot of the material is in E mixolydian with microchromatic movements.
