One of my goals for the year was to get out more and maybe play a few shows and meet some people. That has not happened, for reasons outside of my control. On the flip side I have been making a lot of music and YouTube is turning out to be a really fantastic platform for me. I wanted to make more videos this year, but now I can make A LOT more. This jam features Blackbox doing most of the work. I have two TB-03 samples (same sequence, different step count and octaves) recorded in and a full TR-8/Kick Lancet drum pattern. The drums were bussed down to one loop, something I haven't done yet. But I wanted to utilize the lovely Blackbox filters and the EQ on my mixing board. I used a separate TR-08 Ride part to get the 909 RC pitch bend sound I love so much. The main 303 line is the same as the background ones that were recorded, but just a little longer (12 steps) and saw wave rather than square. I like the saw more and more. Hope you enjoy!
