Alright, fuse boxes on the 2019-2022 GMC Sierra 1500. And yes, the 2022 Limited counts here too. So what's the deal with "Limited"? GMC made two different 2022 Sierras. The Limited is basically the old body style they kept building for another year. If your 2022 Sierra looks the same as a 2021, you're watching the right video. This covers 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Limited models. Three fuse panels in your truck. One under the hood - location varies a bit depending on which engine you have. Two more inside the cab, tucked behind the instrument panel on both sides. Engine options for these years: 2.7L turbocharged L4 (L3B) - turbo four 4.3L V6 (LV3) - base V6 5.3L V8 (L84) - standard EcoTec3 V8 5.3L V8 (L82) - updated V8 version 6.2L V8 (L87) - performance V8 The underhood fuse block sits in different spots. On the 4.3L V6 it's positioned one way, the 5.3L and 6.2L V8 engines have it somewhere else, 2.7L turbo has its own setup. I show all the variations. Trim levels covered: Sierra (base), SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, Denali Cab styles - all of them: Regular Cab, Double Cab, Crew Cab Bed lengths don't change fuse locations either. Short bed, standard, long bed... same panels. Fuses you'll find: Exterior lighting (headlights, fog lights, taillights, bed lights), infotainment system, power accessories (windows, locks, seats, mirrors), USB ports and 12V outlets, fuel pump and ignition, ABS and traction control, climate control system, brake lights, trailer connections and brake controller, backup camera, heated and ventilated seats (Denali), remote start, power running boards. Denali gets some extra fuses for luxury features but the three fuse box locations stay the same as base Sierra. The diagrams in the video match what's on your fuse box covers. Most trucks have the legend printed right on the cover, otherwise check your owner's manual. About that 2022 Limited... GMC kept the previous generation going mostly for commercial and fleet buyers. So don't be confused if your "new" 2022 looks identical to older ones. It's supposed to. Blowing the same fuse repeatedly? Stop. You've got an underlying electrical issue. Short circuit, damaged wire, aftermarket accessory drawing too much power. Fix the root cause, don't just burn through fuses. AT4 has some off-road specific fuses for the transfer case and locking differentials. Same panel locations though. !!! Kill your battery connection first. Negative cable off. Saves headaches later.
