January 2026 Quality of Life Nurse Award

We are excited to honor another deserving nurse with the Quality of Life Nurse Award. Read her nomination here: Lee has been a nurse at Allina Faribault Medical Center (formerly District one) for almost 60 years. I would like to think that anyone that has worked with Lee has been blessed to learn from her long list of knowledge. From her beginning as an aid, LPN, and RN, she has a wealth of experience that cannot compare. She encourages human touch as a form of healing our patients. She is a wonderful example of positivity and comes to work more spry than most of the younger staff! If you are in a situation where Lee is your nurse you are in the best hands as she has the old school touch. That is that she is t afraid to use the healing touch, soft, encouraging words, or, if needed, a hug. --- After over 25 years of providing financial planning and advice to primarily nurses, we felt it was time to give back and recognize nurses for the quality of life they bring to others.
