One with the Tanpura || Live In || Released on March 16 || 7 p.m One With the Tanpura, as the name suggests is our effort to align and try to be one with the ‘Tanpura’ and ‘Sruti’. An experience that we often experience during our practice sessions at Home where it is just us and the Tanpura. On the concert stage, we hardly get the bandwidth to do this. So, this time, during Margazhi 2024, when we were scheduled to perform on the 31st December for Brahma Gana Sabha, we decide to curate a special concert, One With the Tanpura (Live), the full fledged concert version, for the very first time . It turned out to be a full 2.5 odd hours concert. A concert in this format would cut through to the Audience only if the ambience and sound is top notch. Thats when MT Aditya stepped in to provide us the sound design we needed, to pull this off. The Organisers also were kind enough to oblige when we told them that we need the entire stage to be black in color with just a couple of spotlights on us, to add to the ambience. They went one step ahead and said, that they will not even have the organisation’s banner as it would come in the way of the wholesome optics. Thanks a lot to the organisers for going that extra mile and providing us with just the right set up. It was conducted at the beautiful Rasika Ranjani Sabha Hall. It is indeed our pleasure to give our online audience an experience of this concert with an EXCLUSIVE YOUTUBE RELEASE on March 16th, 7 p.m. BB, our man is as always behind the packaging. The true meditative experience however has to be ‘LIVE’. We intend to perform a few of these in 2025. We hope to see you at one of them.
