Instruction Set Architectures: RISC vs CISC (Sharoy's Lecture)

This is a lecture I'm quite proud of. I made this purely out of passion and I'm happy that I finished it. This lecture as the title suggests, covers Instruction Set Architectures and heavily focuses on specifically RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) vs CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computer). I also mentioned VLIW a tiny bit. I have VERY strong biases towards x86 and CISC ISAs as a whole so keep that in mind. I get into a lot of arguments about this and so I made this video so that I keep a large portion of my arguments all in one place so I don't have to type them up all over again. I also hope whoever is looking through my resume sees this video and goes "WOW! We need to hire this guy right now! He knows his stuff!". This is serious business! If this doesn't count for something I don't know what will, you feel me? Let's see, other things I want to mention... Ok ok ok ok. Yeah so a lot of dudes are out there on the internet saying stuff that's purely based off theory. They're only talking the talking points and are not walking the walk. I think there needs to be a follow-up video of sorts on why Apple's macOS and Mac computers as a whole are a plague or something like that because it's very Apple of Apple to switch to ARM. It's just natural for them to go and use every anti-consumer technology possible. In this video I'm trying to say "Walk the talk" because you can tell me a million talking points about how great ARM is or whatever but a lot of what I see is e-waste on a self-destruct timer. You'll see a bit of what I mean in this video alone, how certain things are lacking in regards to longevity and upgradability. My bias towards CISC is, unlike ARM propagandists, is not just some theory I read and it isn't some guy's opinion I'm parroting, it is a mixture of study, experience, and acknowledgement of history of the technology especially the IBM PC and its legacy. That's why my opinion matters. Technology has its own politics you know? Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video.
