Ali Ferguson and Kevin McCollum - "And We Will Not Disintegrate"

"Healing is, by definition, taking a process of disintegration of life and transforming into a process of return to life..." Caroline Myss "And We Will Not Disintegrate" is a joint lockdown project between musician Ali Ferguson and photographer Kevin McCollum. A 12 minute online virtual exhibition of a hand- picked collection of McCollum's work soundtracked by a new ambient piece specially composed and performed by Ferguson. The artists aimed to convey a sense of hope and resolve, to provide a moment of contemplation and light in what could be dark times. Both based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ferguson and McCollum have previously worked together on Ali's last solo album "A Sequence Of Moments" with Kevin providing all artwork for the album. One of the few positives to come from this lockdown crisis has been the collaborations between artists of all mediums that have been appearing, "And We Will Not Disintegrate" is a perfect example.
