An RTVE team travels to the most essential areas of the front in Ukraine to see first-hand what the situation is like on the third anniversary of the offensive and a few days after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, has accelerated negotiations to end the war, without counting on kyiv or the European Union. The journey begins in the capital, in Kyiv, where today life is carried out with apparent normality, although the traces of the war are present. Its Independence Square was the heart of the Euromaidan protests in 2014. That's where it all started. Afterwards, we head east to Donbas, where the feeling is very different. Cold, desolation and very few civilians, is what we found when passing through Pokrovsk, Kupiansk, Chasiv Yar and Liman. The latter witnessed very violent combats. The Russians ended up retreating to the east. But now they are back. They are a few kilometers away...
