REBECCA MARIE (Reynolds) “Becky” MILLER Rebecca Marie (Reynolds) “Becky” Miller was born September 10, 1963 in Jackson County, Missouri and departed this life on February 6, 2026 at her home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 27 days. She was the daughter of Kenneth D. and Judith L. (Ayres) Reynolds. Becky spent her younger years in the Kansas City area, graduating from Ruskin High School in 1981. After high school Becky attended college then went to work as a seamstress. Later she became a vending machine operator for Quick Snack Vending. On June 4, 1983 Becky was united in marriage with Dodd Vanek and to this union two sons, Dakota and Dylan were born. The Vanek family lived in Raytown, Missouri. Becky and Dodd later divorced. In May of 2000, Becky was united in marriage with Gerry Miller and to this union one daughter, Randi Joelee was born. The Miller family made their home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri where they owned and operated Acapulco Pool Company. Mr. Miller passed away on February 4, 2005. After his death, Becky continued to live in Pleasant Hill. Becky had a really big heart and always wanted to help anyone who was in need. She was always trying to help the kids in her neighborhood and her children’s friends, to the point they all called her mom. Becky enjoyed cooking, long phone conversations with friends and socializing. She was a member of the Lakeland Community Church of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Judith Reynolds of Independence, Missouri; two sons, Dakota Joel Vanek and wife Andi of Belton, Missouri, and Dylan Lee Vanek of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; one daughter Randi Joelee Miller of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Independence, Missouri; three grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill with Pastor Alex Smith officiating.
