The Afro-Diasporic Ocean Festival is a free, day-long, multicultural event at Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY, that celebrates Afro-diasporic culture. This year, we celebrated International Day of Afro-Descendant Women, ocean conservation, and the deep connection between cultural memory, land stewardship, and climate justice at the festival on July 26, 2025.
