Gusty VFR hop from Auburn to Bremerton

Originally the forecast called for clear skies and calm winds. The PNW didn’t disappoint with low level wind shear, icing and turbulence. So, after scrubbing the flight at 1100, I go home and walk Luna dog. I look to the west and I see blue skies and not a breath of wind. I sulk while making it back to the house to work on laundry. Phone rings. It’s Brian. “All the wind barbs are gone, it’s clear to the west, let’s go flying!” First stop, Tacoma Narrows for a touch and go. Surprisingly smooth on the approach. As you’ll see on departure we get rocked at the south end. Bremerton next where we were greeted by the one and only Ed Bryce. Clam chowder hit the spot at Amelia’s. Let Boeing tower know where we were and our intentions. Off to Renton for a touch and go followed by the Kent Departure. I almost nicked Boeing airspace on the way south. Practiced engine outs at Auburn. One slightly spicy approach due to crosswind. Enjoy!
