PREGNANT Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry couldn't stop smiling today as they played with kids on their whirlwind tour Down Under. The expectant parents were greeted with hugs and flowers as they arrived in the city of Dubbo just days after announcing they were expecting their first child in spring next year. The couple seemed thrilled to meet kids in the regional town, praised by locals as they showed off their parenting instincts. Farm family member Emily Carroll, 33, watched as Meghan played with her 13-month-old Ruby Carroll, later saying: "They’re both great with kids." She added Meghan admitted she was "running on adrenaline" as the couple fit in 76 engagements in 16 days. Five-year-old Luke Vincent also got up close and personal with the couple, with the adorable tot telling Prince Harry, 34, he was his favourite person after Father Christmas as he pulled on the royal's ginger beard. Little Luke tugged on Harry's beard, saying: "I like beards because I like Father Christmas." The Buninyong Public School pupil was among the 150-strong welcoming party for the royal visit to the New South Wales city, 190 miles from Sydney. Harry and Meghan, 37, had to contend with heavy rain as the Prince spoke to Australia's struggling farmers, telling them to ask for help. She stepped in to hold an umbrella over her husband who joked "it's all right, I've got my wife" when the heavens opened.
