Thankful for Lucinda Andreani's partnership delivering for Northern Arizona.

Recently, I was honored to introduce my friend and member of the Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission, Lucinda Andreani, to the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee to discuss America’s response to the increasing threat of wildfires. Lucinda has been a champion for rethinking the ways we plan for and respond to wildfires – and her appointment to the Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission is a testament to her dedication to Northern Arizona. In her role as Deputy County Manager and Flood Control District Administrator for Coconino County, Lucinda and I have worked together on many critical projects for the people of Northern Arizona. From resiliency planning, to delivering key post-fire and post-flood resources, to seeing firsthand the people and neighborhoods in Flagstaff devastated by post-fire flooding, I am incredibly grateful for Lucinda’s partnership.
