Prone Foiling with the Unifoil 205 Evolution Wing – Unifoil First Impressions

Hey Everyone, Thanks for all the love on my first video with raw GoPro footage! I decided to keep the party going by testing out some time prone foiling with my 205 Evolution wing by ‪@Unifoil‬ . I actually meant to pack my 175 Evo, but grabbed the wrong wing by accident. Surprisingly, I’m glad I did because while the 205 is super glider and easy to pump, it doesn’t surf quite as well as my smaller wings. It ended up being the perfect setup for my Down Wind SUP journey! I paired it with the new XS fuse (which was likely the key to recovering from a single tip-out turn) and the 15.5 Afterburner tail/stabilizer, which was an awesome combo. It took me about 4 waves to figure out how to balance and avoid getting bucked off. A quick tip: when dropping in, make sure to be further up on the board so your front foot pressure is aligned, or try pushing your mast back a little. This was my first time with this setup, and I could’ve probably used a smaller wing, but it’s always fun to try out new gear outside my usual realm!
