Out of respect for the space and their guidelines, we recorded very little — but the experience was eye-opening, emotional, and educational. Thirty years ago this country endured an unimaginable tragedy, yet today you see resilience, growth, and perseverance everywhere. Afterward, we shifted into creativity at Pottery Café Kigali, where I made something that now holds even more meaning. We ended the evening at home, sharing dinner and drinks with our family — slowing down, reflecting on the day, and appreciating the connection that makes travel more than just sightseeing.
