The journey covers approximately 4-5 km and takes just 4 minutes each way . Ticket prices are incredibly affordable: · Single ticket: €1-2 · Round trip: Approximately €3.20 The train is operated by Comboios de Portugal and offers a direct connection; no transfers needed . Here's what we discovered: The Three Bridges Tavira's identity is shaped by its relationship with the Gilão River. The famous Ponte Romana (Roman Bridge) , while actually dating from the 17th century, sits on ancient Roman foundations and offers stunning sunset views across the water .
