Thank you for watching. If you like this video please click the like button. I really appreciate it. In this video I build a Forge with an old 7 gallon Air Compressor tank. I use an angle grinder with a cut off wheel to cut the ends off the tank. Then I used my drill with a 1 1/2 in metal hole saw bit. Then I had to file it out a little bit since the torches were also 1 1/2 in. I lined the inside with 1 in thick ceramic wool. I used Castable Rutland Refractory Cement. For the mold I cut a piece of wood 4 1/2 inches wide, the same width as the Fire Bricks. That way I can use fire bricks as a sacrificial forge floor. Also if you stack the brick in front of the forge it lines up with the floor for a smooth transition. The Torches were from an Amazon forge. I used an old piece of steel for the forge to sit on that was a door for a cabinet. I painted it flat black with the High Heat Grill paint. The stand is an old cast iron sewing machine base. I painted that with Truck bed liner. The paint I used to paint the forge is also grill paint. This video is NOT sponsored. The links below are affiliate links. This forge is more suited for a serious beginner. For a more detailed build check him out. He's very informative.
