Namely, as tonight the President of Serbia stated in his televised address to the nation that rockets and launchers from a western country were delivered to Serbia, and the delivery of which they paid for a few days ago concerns the delivery of short-range Mistral anti-aircraft missiles in version 3+. Back in 2019, a contract was concluded with the European defense company MBDA on the purchase of 18 Mistral anti-aircraft missile launchers and 50 corresponding missiles, and these days that contract has been paid in full and the goods have been delivered. With this delivery, Serbia will significantly raise the level of effectiveness of the air defense corps, which in the category of light portable missile systems relies on the outdated Soviet Strela-2M, which are easily jammed by IC decoys, and the slightly better "Igla-1" or "Shilo", which have a slightly longer range than the Strela. -2M and better jamming resistance. Eighteen Mistral 3+ missile launchers will primarily be mounted on domestic PASARS air defense hybrid systems. Večeras je Predsednik Srbije je i potvrdio da su protivvazduhoplovne rakete francuske proizvodnje isporučene Srbiji. Naime, kako je večeras Predsednik Srbije u svom televizijskom obraćanju naciji izjavio da su rakete i lanseri iz jedne zapadne zemlje isporučeni Srbiji, a čiju su isporuku isplatili pre par dana tiče se isporuke protivvazduhoplovnih raketa kratkog dometa Mistral u verziji 3+. Još 2019. godine zaključen je ugovor sa evropskom odbrambenom kompanijom MBDA o kupovini 18 lansera protivvazduhoplovnih raketa Mistral i 50 odgovarajućih raketa, a ovih dana je taj ugovor u celosti isplaćen i roba je isporučena. Ovom isporukom Srbija će značajno podići nivo efikasnosti trupne PVO koja se u kategoriji lakih prenosnih raketnih sistema oslanja na zastarele sovjetske Strele-2M koje se lako ometaju IC mamcima i nešto boljih “Igla-1” odnosno “Šilo” koje imaju nešto veći domet od Strele-2M i bolju otpornost na ometanje.
