Our lightpainting tubes: https://lightpainting.store Our lightpainting tutorials: https://lightpainting.art/tutorials Exifs & additional pictures: https://lightpainting.art/news/we-mad... In this video, Kim and I show how a tiny puddle can look like a vast, dreamy landscape when you combine light-painting, reflections, and a wide-angle lens. You don’t need a lake, bay, or ocean to create magic. All it takes is a creative eye, low shooting angles, and a bit of patience. We’ll walk you through the setup, technique, and behind-the-scenes of one of our favorite types of shoots, making something huge from something small. ✨ *What’s inside the video:* We start by showing how small bodies of water - even puddles - can create stunning reflection photos, with two quick examples to spark your imagination. Then we dive into the inspiration behind this shoot: a photo our friend Yohann sent us that sparked the idea. You'll see the actual location, a small puddle next to a swamp, and we explain how to make the most of it by shooting low with a wide-angle lens. From there, we take you behind the scenes of our setup and light-painting session, and wrap it all up by revealing the final image. ⌚ ** Timestamps ** 00:00 - Intro 00:45 - Two examples of small body of water used to create beautiful reflections 00:59 - The puddle image our friend Yohann sent us and what we envisioned from it 01:53 - The location: the puddle and the swamp 02:26 - How to use a puddle: Shoot from a low perspective, with a wide-angle lens 02:58 - BTS preparation 04:03 - BTS light-painting session 04:37 - Final image 04:52 - Outro --- Follow our journey on https://ericpare.com/links https://kimhenry.dance/links
