My family and I decided to take on a serious project: building a DIY 16' x 28' greenhouse from timber on our property. We cut the timbers into useable 6"x6" White Oak beams, which we then used to support the overall structure. I guess each White Oak post in our greenhouse weighed over 100 pounds.
