Breaking down a rocky desert scene in Gaea. No final render for this one just a break down. This is a build that is dependent on small granular details. So, taking the time to set that up is important. Luckily, the new "insert" node in 1.3 is very easy to use and allows us to make such small details, especially on slopes. We will take a different approach to the typical desert sand scene by using a combo of different sat maps to texture the landscape. More on that in a different video, however.
