Throughout his life, he focused less on performing and more on teaching and writing music for others to play. ---------------------------------------- The piece begins with grandiose thirds on the 2nd and 3rd strings, finished beautifully by the E chord in its simplest form, omitting the 4th and 5th strings) and the A+G chord, excluding the 5th and 6th strings (the full chord is difficult to play). [Bars 13-14] I used a slide between different fingers (3,2) to help me. Finger 3 slides on the 3rd string and finger 2 goes to the note C#. [Bar 23] Holding fingers 1 and 2 makes the playing easier and clearer. [Bar 26] Open D chord.
