A friend gave it to me — and I decided to bring it back to life. In this video you’ll see a full SNES restoration process: • Deep internal cleaning • Retrobright plastic whitening using hydrogen peroxide and UV light • Full recap – replacing all old electrolytic capacitors • LED upgrade (blue LED – because it’s 2026, not 1991) • My own USB‑C power mod The USB‑C mod allows the SNES to be powered directly by 5V, meaning it can run from a modern phone charger or even a power bank — no original power brick needed. This is not just cosmetic restoration, but a functional modernization while keeping the console fully usable and safe.
