Mega youth event organised in Dhanbad | HKTV NEWS

Few days ago, the city of Dhanbad, famous for India's largest coal mines, witnessed a celebration like never before. More than 3000 youth in the age group of 15-35 years assembled in the New Town Hall, the largest auditorium in Dhanbad, experienced a glimpse of the nectar of loving devotion towards The Lord. This event is in its second year. HG Naam Prem Prabhuji, President, ISKCON Dhanbad, organized this event in the presence of HG Devakinandan Prabhuji. Sri Shyam Pandey, Managing Director, 99 group, was the guest of honor. HG Devakinandan Prabhuji gave a wonderful discourse on how The Bhagavad Gita is the biggest source of inspiration for mankind. ISKCON Mumbai’s kirtan group immersed everyone in the mellows of The Holy Name while making everyone dance to the tune of Hare Krishna Mahamantra. Thousands of youth also registered for the weekly Gita course and other programs sponsored by ISKCON and got information about future programs as well. Several questions were presented to Devakinandan Prabhuji who answered them to the full satisfaction of the attendees. In the end, everyone relished delectable prasad. Such events will go a long way in giving right direction to the misdirected youth of today.
